Valerie joined the Belle and Sparrows team in January of 2023. As a single mom of seven, Valerie faces challenges with unwavering determination. Referred to Belle and Sparrows by the residential program where she was staying, she is now working diligently to rebuild her life for herself and her children.

In her role as the primary candle maker, Valerie has found an outlet for her creativity and skill. Beyond candle making, Valerie actively participates in selling candles at events and pop-ups. Her journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and the supportive community at Belle and Sparrows.

LaTasha is a single mom of two who joined the team in October of 2024. LaTasha was referred to Belle and Sparrows from Agape Resource and Assistance Center. LaTasha is originally from Little Rock, AR but north Texas has been her home for the past five years. LaTasha is working hard and making strides to rebuild her life for her and her kids.

Trace is so excited to get to put her IT skills to work for Belle and Sparrows. Her background has encompassed many aspects of ministry and non-profit endeavors. And it is through ministry that she met the co-founders, first working alongside Lynde Griggs, and then through that relationship she met Tiffany Utech.

When she isn’t flexing her IT muscles, you can find her involved with her church, serving and mentoring middle or high school students, or heading outside in the San Juan mountains of Colorado taking in a run, hike, or bicycle ride.

Elena will be a freshman at Walnut Grove High School. Her hobbies include Theater, and Music. Elena is excited to give back to the community using her creativity in design for social media content.
